Launched at the famed Music Live show at the NEC in Birmingham on 21 November, www.musiciansreunite.com is an absolute must for all musicians, ex-musicians, fans and just about anyone who has ever been in a band, "hung" around with a band or just wants to track down an old friend who you used to meet at your favourite gig.

Similar to Friends Re-united, the idea is for all musicians, ex-musicians etc. to be able to track down ex-band mates, roadies, fans….. infact anyone who they haven't seen in years. There is even an area where you can track down all the other people you were around with in those star struck days. Whether it was the caterers, the lighting guys or even the dodgy "rock chicks" on the first tour that you managed to blag. Want to find the manager who got you that first deal or even the first gig? What about the bloke who drove the old Transit? They're all here.

Registration is free and easy to complete. Once you register you can immediately start searching. Everybody who registers before 29 February 2004 has full members access for 12 months.

Where this site differs from any other similar site is the Musicians Resources section. This section opens up a gateway to all the information a musician could ever need, such as finding studios, shops, record labels, management companies, legal teams, rehearsal rooms etc. There is even a recruitment section, so that if ever your band needs a new guitarist, drummer, bass player, infact anything, you will find them here.

The site's founders, Roy Davis and Neil O'Neil, are both veterans of the music scene. Roy still plays bass with classic AOR band Shy, and Neil owns and runs the web design company Compulab Limited and a small label, Heavy Rock Records. The idea for the site came about when Roy realized that his rehearsal facility in Birmingham (Madhouse Rehearsals) is a great meeting place for musicians who hadn't bumped into each other for years. He immediately contacted internet and website expert Neil, and www.musiciansreunite.com was born.
